I remember downtown Oklahoma City as a run down old part of town, however in the last 10 years or so that went to town, excuse the pun, restoring it and making it a cultural center of attenttion, and they have done as amazing job at it. They have a Canal running through the center of all the old brick buildings with beautiful murals and art displays. The statues of the Oklahoma land run represent the largest collection of bronze statues in the nation.
